“What Happened to the Bennetts” was recommended on Instagram by @elinhilderbrand and when Elin says read something, I read it. And, as always, I was not disappointed.
The Bennetts are a typical suburban family when they are the victims of carjacking. That night, they are forced to join witness protection, leaving their friends and neighbors to wonder what happened. We stay with the Bennetts the whole time as they try to figure out what happened to them while simultaneously watch their friends try to figure it out as well.
This book had SO many false starts and twists. Just when I thought I knew what was happening, something changed or was revealed. I started this on a plane and it was the *perfect* plane book because I just had to know what was going to happen next.
This was my first @lisascottoline novel but will absolutely not be my last.
