Suspects by Danielle Steel

4.0

I received an advanced copy of this book.

Theodora is our main character in this story. We learn of her tragic background where her husband and son were kidnapped and killed. Her life has continued as she leads both her and her husband's businesses, but now she is always surrounded by security to prevent further danger.
Theodora begins to branch out again and has a trip to New York City planned. Another passenger on the plane pops up on the radar of the CIA which leads to some tracking, and more awareness of Theodora. CIA op Mike Andrews is intrigued by the man who triggered their alert, but he becomes quite invested in Theodora, both professionally and personally.
This story is a classic Steel romance, and includes a good deal of intrigue and mystery.
