Becoming Phoebe by J. Michael Neal
4.0
This book was very well written with a lot of statistics and numbers. Not what I was expecting but I enjoyed it all the same. If you care to learn about the sport of hockey this helps you for certain.
The main character, Phoebe is more complex than I was expecting, which was refreshing to me. She's not a character that I can usually connect with, but like I said, the complexity of the character was different, which I appreciated.
The only downside, the hockey statistics and explanation was a bit boring. It was tedious to get through and a couple times, confusing.
All in all, solid novel. I would recommend to a sports fan.
