This book has basically left me breathless...
How do I write my review? I feel like I’m an emotional wreck!
Don’t mistaken my anxiousness. I LOVED the book. I actually want to pick it up and read it again. Even with all its emotion and angst. Oh, I thought I was going to turn inside out at times. But I love these characters. That’s the thing!! I ADORE THEM!!! So when they’re dealing with so much, I’m falling apart!!
This second installment of the Alinthia series really brought Tori (Alinthia) closer to each one of her protectors individually. It was so nice to see each one of their personalities, and how they opened up to her. But, of course there are complications and they cause a lot of worry and angst for Tori (Alinthia) and the guys, and therefore we as the reader feel it along with them. I’m not going to say too much about what happens, because you need to read it to find out. But I will say that Siobhan Davis can write a book that you become so invested in while reading it, that it gets under your skin. And my skin is jumpy today! I need the next book ASAP!!! No pressure or anything Siobhan!! Lol!
