This was a great book!
It has some serious aspects, like discussions and scenes about religious trauma, deportation, racism, homophobia, outings, depression and attempted suicide.
It also had a lot of funny and cute moments, too. It has the beard trope where the “straight” character fake dates the queer character’s partner to avoid coming out.
I loved the different discussions that Bo and Yamilet about their heritage, since Bo is Asian and Yami is Mexican American.
And now I need to rewatch and listen to Selena.
