This small town Christmas story was heart warming and charming. It definitely has a Hallmark movie feel to it.
Mark and Riley don’t meet under the best circumstances, but a special project brings them together and a friendship is formed.
Mark has a tragic past. He’s considered a hero in his small town but he’s become a recluse since the accident that left him badly burned.
Riley is hiding from her own tragic past. She would like to ignore Christmas all together, but can’t help feel drawn to Mark and his secret project.
Mark and Riley help each other slowly heal from their very different past traumas. I sometimes felt frustrated with Riley and the choices she made, but these two really have a beautiful relationship and I really loved watching them fall in love!
