Ghost Fleet: The Whole Goddamned Thing by Donny Cates

4.0

Iimage comics release of The Ghost Fleet: The Whole G*ddamned Thing. (Review copy)

The Ghost Fleet is a secret shipping system enacted by partnership with Andrew Jackson and Privateers. The Ghost Fleet transports sensitive material whereever and whenever it needs to go. They never know what cargo they carry

After being Hijacked, Trace wakes from a crash to find his Hijackers with their flesh boiled off. He breaks the code and looks in the popped open wreckage of his Semi-Truck and sees the Cargo with his own eyes. He is no longer part of the Fleet, he is hunted by them.

This is the trade paperback for (I believe) a 6 part comic run. Stellar art work, great plot. Feels a lot like Big Trouble in Little China which makes sense as it dedicated to Kurt Russell .
Great writing by Donny Cates, artwork by Daniel Warren Johnson, color by Lauren Affe.. There are a couple areas in this that could have been skipped. Most meta references in comics are flops.. This had one of those.
