A nice continuation of the first book. I liked a lot that it definitely had the same atmosphere in the beginning, but slowly changed as we got to see Pip change as well. I was happy to see her expressing her emotions in a more violent way maybe, because it felt real, it fit the story. Her anger was written almost beautifully.
I can't give whole five stars even though I really want to, but I have to look at this with a critical eye and for me the start was very slow. It makes sense though for the story, but it felt like it was dragging out the beginning a little bit. Also I didn't understand the mention of Harry, the guy from the library as he didn't really add anything to the story. Maybe he's important for the third book, but as of now, I don't know that and feel like the plot line of Hillary Wiseman's grave was disappointing.
