“That is the moment when I began to believe that I truly deserve to be here.”

As is the case with every single work by Ari North, the colour palette for this book is gorgeous. I’m genuinely in awe of it. The art style is also beautiful, all of Ari North’s characters have a certain charm to them which I love, it makes it so easy to differentiate her characters from others.

I also need to mention the soundtrack since i’ve been listening to it on spotify a lot recently. It’s so amazing, and perfectly composed. The cozy magic vibes of it all, I just love it and I urge everyone to listen to it if you need a relaxing playlist.

I truly can’t pick a favourite character. All of them mean so much to me and I can see so much of myself within all of them. I also love that they all had their own way to communicating to Wisteria that they believed in her. From Killian implying that she would be staying for a long time, to Amal taking her out to show her that she can be successful despite her own thoughts telling her otherwise, to Cecily just being the most supportive Mother figure to Wisteria.

I just really love the dynamic between all the characters, the fact that the people in the shop are starting to become Wisteria’s second family, her home away from home. Also i love Wisteria and her Father’s relationship, I did infact end up tearing up at some of their scenes.
