i really tried to finish this, i was so close. but every time i opened the book i just couldn’t. i started reading this thinking it would be the filthiest slow burn but alas. this was underwhelming in my opinion. it started great, and when i got over the fact that there wouldn’t be the kind of slow burn i hoped, the romance was not horribly written. their feelings for each other evolved alarmingly fast for me but that is just how a lot of books like this are written, unfortunately. maybe i will actually finish this one day but right now i cannot stand the thought of reading another word. :D
