A Deeper Darkness by J.T. Ellison

5.0

I won my copy of this book through Good Reads First Reads Giveaways in exchange for an honest review, so here goes:

I really loved this book - it is exactly what I enjoy reading in a thriller. It kept me constantly on my toes, as every time I felt I'd got a handle on what was going on and whodunit, somebody else turned up with a gun in their hands. Right up to the dramatic ending, it really could have gone any way. I felt this was so well written. I love the fact that at the start of every chapter you are told the location the action starts in and which character you are following. (More authors really need to do this!) After finishing this book, and reflecting back on what I'd read, I can see all the clever clues the author laid along the way, pointing to answers. But I was just too caught up in what I was reading as I went along to see the full picture until after. I am so looking out for more books by this author!
