Bloodshot Volume 6: The Glitch and Other Tales by Howard Chaykin, Peter Milligan, Duane Swierczynski

2.0

Duane Swierczynski's run on this title has been engaging, if not perfect. I like the character and its potential. I was looking forward to reading a bunch of one shots by other writers and seeing how they flowed with the continuity. I didn't look at the names of the authors or I probably would have just skipped it.

Peter Milligan's contributions to the Valiant universe have been terrible. This is better than his [b:Shadowman Vol. 4: Fear Blood The Shadows (Shadowman|32706548|Shadowman Vol. 4 Fear Blood The Shadows (Shadowman (2012- ))|Peter Milligan|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1476894310l/32706548._SY75_.jpg|28147961] run, but that's a very low bar.

Howard Chaykin hasn't written anything remotely worth reading in this century. And his ability to draw the same characters over and over again, even when they're supposed to be completely unrelated to his previous work is unimpressive. The only nice thing I can say about his contribution to this collection is It Was Short.

The first story in the collection was interesting, and the director's cut of the first issue was also fun. Otherwise, this is completely skippable.
