Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow

5.0

What is there that can be said about this, the most culturally important biography of the millennium so far? Only that it is as good as advertised, Chernow approaches this book with a McCullough-esque writing style that makes these scenes fly off the page, and after reading countless books saying how much of a lunatic Hamilton was, to see his character given dimensionality is refreshing beyond words. One of the best biographies I've read and will ever read.
