I enjoyed this book. It had a good fast-paced plot, fun banter, and just enough heat. Moria and Kol were really good together. I liked that they had parallel hang ups about romance and forever. This book also set up an overarching problem to be resolved over the course of the series. I’m excited to see what happens next.
I was still left with some questions on world building. The book gave more than the prequel but I wanted just a little bit more. After finishing, I found out that there was a three book series before this one so I’m wondering if I should have read that first. I’m not sure how much order matters but I’m going to continue reading this series and then circle back to the other one.
