Maid-sama! Vol. 01
by Hiro Fujiwara
3/5 stars

Maid-sama is one of the most well-known shoujo of all time. Well, after reading the book, I can see why everyone wants to read it.

Misaki is the strict class president at Seika High School. She's always tough because she's the first female press at that once-all-boys school.

Actually, Misaki has her own secret that she would like to keep from everyone in her school. She works as a maid in a cafe. When Usui, the popular boy at school, happened to run into Misaki at work, things got a little bit risky for Misaki. So this is where their story begins.

Misaki is a strong girl who tried her hardest to stand on her own two feet. But, in my opinion, she needs to understand that good leadership entails properly dividing roles among her team members.

Then there's Usui, who is your typical manga-cool boy. He excels at everything, is a little cold, but has a soft heart.

The story, in my opinion, is quite full. This manga, like Detective Conan, is jam-packed with dialogue. Some people may become bored while reading. As for me, I'm fine with it.

Because this is a shoujo manga, I believe Misaki and Usui's relationship will become sweeter later. So, let's see what happens next with their story.

Anyway, for the extra story, "A Transparent World" is so sweet. I like how Makoto can help Kisaragi to be a better version of herself.
