I can empathize with feeling like you have lost yourself when spending most of your waking hours caring for children, but this woman’s life looked pretty nice to me as an outsider looking in. I think I felt like she was a bit unappreciative of all the blessings in her life. Three healthy children, a faithful husband who loves her, a friend of any kind that you actually regularly see in adulthood, neighbors who offer help, a supportive mother, etc. By the end I did feel like she got her wake up call, but by then I was already kind of sick of her.
