Better Than the Movies by Lynn Painter

5.0

I think I can vouch for (almost) everyone when I say that we ALL knew who to root for from the beginning. Like C'MON, did the 'other' guy ever compare. Liz was so blind, but honestly, I think it made the book better. I liked the slow realization throughout the book. The banter was beautiful. The trope was very cliché, but the execution was done in a way that you actually felt connected to the story. I wasn't emotionally connected to the characters, but I was invested in what they were doing. The rom-com tie was very cute. The best part of book? HELENA

Do I rec? yes. obv
