Night Sins by Tami Hoag

3.0

I grabbed Night Sins by Tami Hoag from my stacks to try and read more of the books I own. This is from WAY back.

Published in 1995, just a year after I graduated high school, this felt so old. All of the male characters, even the one you were supposed to like, were obnoxious. And obnoxiously sexist. Ah, the 90s. We don't miss you.

When a little boy goes missing in a small town, the chief of police drags his feet a bit because this doesn't happen in his town. BCA agent Megan O'Malley pushes hard to find the little boy. I really cheered on Megan, she was a great character and the only one that was worth rooting for. Weird ending, however, but it looks like there are a few follow-up books that may explain things.
