Saving Shadow by Laura Beers
4.0
Amaziingg :)
Soo I now binged the whole series as far as it exists (hopefully we will hear Miss Colette's story... and this is not the end...)
I really loved this series... I usally tend to read more the classical regency romance books but I couldnt stop reading here. I loved Laura Beers writing style which was amazing, I loved how she was able to wave the spy story and the romance story elements together and create one , no several facinating books. I also adored all the side characters which we could mostly revisit in later books (where they were the main leads) and which all were absolutely incredibly well developped... You could really feel the different vibes of the characters flowing off the pages. I also loved the bromance which developped as the series got along...
This book Saving Shadow was Incredible in setting the start for everyting... It set the scene keeps you on your toes because there are verry many new characters you are meeting already, and is an adorable lovestory... :) though i was kinda annoyed with Benedict for not giving Eliza enough credit, and thats something he somehow couldnt make up to me...
