Ce que le jour doit à la nuit by Yasmina Khadra

This book exceeded my expectations I always judge a book by its ability to make me feel emotions I got to be angry at the fate his dad had to face, the colonizers entitlement, I got to be sad because of what Younès had to go trough, the cowardice of his friends and their betrayal, the loss of everyone that was dear to him, Jalloul’s fate and happy when his dad or uncle shared words of wisdom with him as well as his final reconciliation with Jean-Christophe. It was a beautiful story, perfect from the beginning to the end there is no boring passage.
