This book was so nice and easy to read. The main reason for this being that I loved the characters and how unique they were, even if in all fairness, most of them annoyed me at some points which makes them really human.
At first I thought this book was really cute and then that their relationship status was a bit rushed (I'm a slowburn girl so) but then I thought that this book was wayyy more than just their relationship and I loved the many deep details it had. Ishu's sister and her family, Hani's sexuality affecting her relationships, and all the racism and homophobia that was involved throughout the whole book.
It's truly a light book, but the topics spoken on it are definitely not and I'm so glad I read it.
Another point I loved about this book is how every single detail was then fixed with no lose strings, I appreciated that a lot in a book.
Lastly, I adore many things about the indian culture so I truly enjoyed reading new concepts or words and then going to Google to see what they're/mean, it was an easy way to learn more about both the culture and the Islam.
