A cozy winding mystery, driven by bold characters and witty one liners. It’s a great palette cleanser and as is true of most other Carl Hiaasen works, Florida wildlife and ecosystems feature heavily and contribute to an overall sunny lighthearted vibe despite the mystery at the core of the story. 

Generally a pretty quick read and definitely good for a mental vacation. If you want a story where the bad guys are bad, the good guys are mostly good, and ride is wild, this is a good one.
