I'm rereading Rick Riordan's books because of the series & because I almost don't remember anything (How??? Idk?! )
It was great;
the characters are lovable, the cast is diverse & the story is easily understandable yet unpredictable. In my opinion Percy is a good protagonist, he is relatable & funny. I also enjoyed the writing style & humor, which make the novel even more entertaining.
Ofc you have to keep in mind that the story is for young readers and therefore not as complicated, scary, etc. as some novels for an older audience. Anyway, I think it's a quick, fun & kinda nostalgic read nonetheless and definitely recommend it :)
