Aristides' Convenient Wife by Jacqueline Baird

3.0

A banker by profession, Leon Aristides is a ruthless man, taking what he wants with little regard for other. The same's true for how his marriage to Helen Haywood begins. A bid to safeguard family name and control over family business.

Soon love finds a place in his life but he is oblivious to it, having never been the recipient of the said emotion.

For Helen, on the other hand, little Nicholas, is her life. Nicolas is Delia's son who was Helen's best friend and Leon's younger sister. Being named guardian to the little boy, she is unaware that Leon does not share the same privilege and agrees to marry him to stay with her baby. Her baby, as she is the one who had looked after the baby from the time he was born.

Living in a mansion in Athens, bound by marriage they find themselves to be each other's soul mates with a lot of trust issues being the main hindrances.

And of course, even though she has known that she could not not have a baby since after her accident when she was 14, she conceives one with her husband in a couple of months, a miracle indeed ;)

An overall 3.5
