Death of a Bookseller by Bernard J. Farmer

4.0

These British Library Crime Classics are full of gender and ethnic stereotyping (this one even contains a disclaimer at the book's beginning), but they're fun period pieces. This one is interesting for a couple plot points--most of the action is involved with proving a condemned man's innocence. And the reader witnesses another murder which the main character knows nothing about until almost the end of the book.
