Review: Such a fun read, Alistair is an anxious giant bean and I love him so much. I originally read the story in an anthology, and loved this extended version just as much. I would love to read many more stories in this world in the future.
Quotes:
- Many people would consider me a monster, for some bizarre reason— probably because they felt inadequate due to their limited number of arms—
- “You’re welcome,” he said loftily, though I caught a hint of mirth that made me grin. How did he manage to be scary and cute at the same time?
- But he scooped me right up off the floor and tossed me over his shoulder like a caveman— Alistair, my Alistair, had lost his mind
