I am seriously hooked on this series! It took me a month to get through this book due to issues outside of my control, but I enjoyed every minute of this book.
It’s fast paced but not too fast and not too slow either. We are settling into the new relationship that is Xaden and Violet. They’re struggling with communication, but they’re gonna get it worked out.
The truth is slowly coming out in this book. We know more and more what’s going on in the world that was hidden away from the civilians and anyone not a part of the Navarrian leadership. Wyverns are real. Venin are real.... and they want Violet!
There’s twists and turns in this book just like in Fourth Wing. So many things make you go “what the......” and it’s just so worth reading.
I cannot wait for Onyx Storm to come out and will be reading that as soon as I get my hands on it.
There’s also so much snark in this book. I was constantly laughing at the snark from Andarna and Tarin.
