I am still handling my emotions after completing this but I am having a hard time doing so!!
I don't know what this book did to me! It was everything that I expected from my first Co-Ho and more!!!
Hoover address the issue of domestic abuse so intricately and gives us a clear picture of how sometimes there is more to the story! Ofcourse abuse of any kind isn't meant to be tolerated or left condemned but this book so beautifully takes us on a journey through Lily's ups and downs as she experiences her parents abusive relationship and later on has to face the tragedy in her own life and how she eventually deals with it.
It teaches us TO KEEP SWIMMING UNTIL WE REACH THE SHORE! That epilogue was one of the best I've ever read and YES I UGLY CRIED SO MANY TIMES
