Killjoy by Julie Garwood

I was looking forward to a story with John Paul, and I'm so glad it was this one! I was on the edge of my seat the entire book. I thought I had it figured out and then it changed. When Tony turned out to be one of the conspirators, I was both surprised and not. There was always something suspicious about him to me. I did not expect him to be working with Jilly. Monk's death was a bit anticlimactic, but I think it was fitting. He thought he was so special and so smart, but he died as no one. I would have liked to know what was in Anne's letter, and I still wonder why she didn't try to survive. But what a great cast of strong female characters! They were great.

When Noah popped up again, it made the book that much better. He's such a fun character, and I'm excited to eventually see how his story unfolds.
