Here Kitty, Kitty by Elizabeth Knox

3.0

I can see it being so much more.

So much potential in the story line and the characters but so much confusion in the execution.

SPOILERS

Kitty was kidnapped at 13 and held hostage and treated poorly for many years. Her family couldn’t find her for the longest time but they finally did a couple years ago and they asked someone to infiltrate the MC she was being kept in to keep watch over her. So we are back to the present and she tries to kill herself. The guy finds her, takes her to the hospital, and then takes her home to her family. When they get there, they say “why didn’t you tell us you were coming”.

And that wasn’t the only time I was confused about characters’ reactions.
