The Abuse of Ashley Collins by Jon Athan

3.0

Quick read and that might be the problem. The speed at which the parents go from kind and caring to flipping their insanity switch is literally overnight. Ashley is also a very normal teenager and her biggest offense isn't even that big. She has valid reasons for hating her parents and acting out. It all seems extremely unbalanced from the start.

Just as insanely as the parents morph into demons, the ending also takes a rapid turn and I didn't like how far it went. The potential for a different ending is totally missed.
