While this collection had an equal amount of stories that worked for me and didn't - I still really enjoyed it, because Meloy is clearly a student of interior life. Loved all of those mental movements and while there is a certain amount of "topical" issues, the overall effect of the collection is striking at something deeper. The need for things just out of reach and our thirst that arises from desire.
