Only Daughter by Anna Snoekstra

3.0

I am an Indigo employee, and I received an advanced reading copy of this book from Indigo Books and Music, in exchange for my honest feedback.

This was one of those 'guilty pleasure thrillers' that you curl up with in front of the fireplace with a bottle of wine -- only there was nothing to feel guilty about. I found the plot interesting and fast-paced, and I was unable to put it down. I had no idea what to expect, and honestly, the conclusion was quite a surprise for me! It felt like plot twist after plot twist after plot twist. I really loved the concept - and how it was narrated by two different characters in two different time periods. There's something about the 'long missing person comes back' trope that I absolutely love, and this book did not disappoint.
