I was so absolutely excited to be chosen to read an ARC copy of this book. I love this author and she’s a very talented writer who adds so much depth to any story. It pains me to say that I didn’t enjoy this book like I had hoped.  I’m not a fan of Shakespeare at all, and the chapters would not end.. I feel like the chapters were at least an hour and a half long.  I found myself skipping through and reading the Melina chapters after I hit about 50%. I believe others will definitely love this one, but I prefer the typical Jodi style book. I do appreciate all of the time and research she put into it. If you’re into the  Elizabethan era you will definitely enjoy it.
