The first thing about this book that stands out to me, is the writing style. It's funny, and with a use of vocabulary that stands out, in a very good way. (As a non-native speaker I went to my e-reader's dictionary a few times, but even that didn't know all words :D ((there is an in-book reason for these words, don't worry, its not the author being a word-grubber as Presti would say :D))
When a was partway into this book, I would have maybe called it a comedy, but then the later parts take a serious turn, that while they fit well within the narrative would be misrepresented if I gave the while book a comedy stamp. One part even made me tear up!
Overall, i really do recommend this, I had a very good time reading it, and I see a reread in my future!
