The challenges facing the new Avatar haven't let up. Still learning her new responsibilities, and balancing them with her oaths, Shadow of Kyoshi twists and turns from dark tunnels to shining palaces, bringing with it intrigue. I felt that the story was slow at times, but I think that that may have been to the story's benefit, as my sometimes frustration with the pace, where I wanted to see action, mirrored that of Kyoshi, who wanted to escape politics and get to fighting. Where the pace picks up though, it's a whirlwind adventure.
Moderate: Death, Violence, Blood, Grief, Murder, Fire/Fire injury, and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Homophobia, Abandonment, and Classism
