"Sing Me To Sleep" by Gabi Burton is an absolute gem within the YA Dark Romantasy genre! Saoirse Sorkova, our wonderfully complex and morally grey main character, navigates a world where her very existence as a siren is illegal. I loved the tension between her duty and her heart—especially with Prince Hayes—which made for a gripping read. Burton's masterful storytelling, full of dark twists and turns, kept me hooked from start to finish.
The book’s all Black and Brown cast adds a refreshing and necessary layer of diversity to the genre, and the forbidden romance between Saoirse and Hayes is beautifully handled. The plot is compulsively readable, with secrets and dangers lurking at every corner. If you're a fan of thrilling YA fantasy with deep secrets and compelling characters, don’t miss this one. Highly recommend!
