This series was described to me by a fan that it was the "most Shonen anime to ever Shonen."
And honestly, this feels like the start of a pretty good series.
If "Black Clover's" Asta could be considered the new Naruto Uzumaki, Yuji Itadori here can be considered the new Ichigo Kurosaki from "Bleach." A bit of a tough guy, but still kind of a hot-headed goofball; and most interesting tho is that we're already dealing with the ramifications of his Dark Side with the evil within him leads us to (essentially) a new Shikon Jewel hunt from "Inuyasha."
The supporting cast feels solid but too face-value, but I'm sure we'll go into their history and motivation later.
