*CW: This volume deals with heavy mental health topics, including eating disorders and self harm. Please read mindfully.* 💕
Awe man. This one really hit a little too close to home. 🥺
I really appreciate Alice’s approach to tackling mental health struggles. She uses the perspective of someone wanting to help someone suffering, as opposed to focusing on the person suffering. It allows the conversation to be focused on recognizing the problem and seeking help, which makes it a lot less triggering. I hope kids can read this and recognize they can get help too. You don’t get better alone- you do it with lots and lots of help. 💕
Also Tori is my hero and I love her.
Moderate: Eating disorder and Mental illness
Minor: Self harm
