it was entertaining, i did finish it, and i'm quick to give up on books i don't like, but i wouldn't recommend it to my friends. if you just want a fast-paced book to pull you out of a reading slump, i think this would be good enough. but don't expect great writing, and i'm saying that because i thought the foreshadowing was a bit too heavy-handed. The book could have used more subtlety, because in trying to keep the reader engaged, the author used foreshadowing plot points that crumble under scrutiny after the big reveal's recontextualisation, at least in my opinion. so, all in all, it was okay, but it could have been great
