I’m not quite sure how to rate this book, because while I really enjoyed I also had issues with certain things.
One, be warned that this book has graphic sexual assault pretty early on (about 25% in) while that isn’t a huge trigger for me it did catch me off guard. I also think this book falls into the “beautiful damaged girl” trope which I take issue with. The epilogue also almost ruined this book for me altogether.
So, if I were to rate this book on pure enjoyment it would be 4 stars, given all the issues I had it would be 2 stars, so I decided to split the difference.
