so I felt like this was a repeat of book two? just from gaston’s point of view?
which don’t get me wrong, I didn’t hate! one of my favorite parts of THE BEAST WITHIN was the backstory between adam/kingsley & gaston, and I’m so happy to see it expanded upon
although I really wished for a happy ending for gaston selfishly… especially as this story proves he wasn’t actually a bad person, if anything he was a better person and had a better heart than adam did at any point in their upbringing
if it wasn’t for the odd sisters, gaston probably would have been the hero of the story 🥲
another quick and easy disney retelling read!
