This was hands down the best mystery/thriller book that I've read this year. The year hasn't even ended and I'm confidently saying that π
.
If you're a fan of the mystery/thriller genre (even psychological thrillers, bcz I think this was a little bit of that too), you MUST read this book. The plot twists *screams* π± like I have no words! For the entire second half of the book my heart was pounding in my mouth from not knowing what was gonna happen next π΅βπ«. I love psychological thrillers but a lot of them can be triggering, this one though, was not so I was able to enjoy it a lot more.
A bit of warning though, Part 1 of had me thinking one thing and by the time I got to Part 2 I was so lost and confused that I had to reread a lot of the stuff from Part 1 for it all to makes sense. BUT it was SO WORTH IT! It felt like putting together a puzzle once the plots and characters started clicking together in my brainπ€―.
Also the ending was totally satisfying (I won't say if it's a good or bad kind of satisfaction but definitely satisfying).
I wish I could read this book for the first time all over again π. The feeling of your heart pounding and palms sweating from an excellent mystery compares to no other feeling π π.
