Death's Excellent Vacation, by Charlaine Harris

Introduction by Charlaine Harris and Toni L. P. Kelner - standard "how we decided the theme" intro

Two Blondes by Charlaine Harris - I love Pam, so it was great for her to have a story with Sookie. I enjoyed this silly little tale quite a lot

The Boys Go Fishing by Sarah Smith - felt a bit The Watchmenesque. A little darker than the stories in these anthologies often get -- also a bit deeper. A story about feeling alone.

One for the Money by Jeaniene Frost - a cute story. I like Kat and Bones.

Meanwhile, Far Across the Caspian Sea by Daniel Stashower - LOVED THIS ONE!! A very well done and well written story. I had lots of ideas on what the ending was, and I was wrong. It was surprising and lovely. A vacation in what amounts to a cubicle setting, interesting.

The Innsmouth Nook by A. Lee Martinez - Another cute story. If you want a successful business, fill the nitch market.

Safe and Sound by Jeff Abbott - scary. I could see this one being made into a Tales from the Darkside story (yeah, or Twilight Zone) -- With Courtney Cox playing Nora ala Gale Storm

Seeing is Believing by L.A. Banks -

The Perils of Effrijim by Katie MacAlister - not my favorite. Kind of an annoying story. I usually like Katie's stories, so it might have partially been the voice the reader chose for Jim.

Thin Walls by Christopher Golden - this one could have been in one of the Hot Blood series. Disturbing and hot, Which is a little disturbing on its own.

The Heart is Always Right by Lilith Saintcrow - ahhhh, a gargoyle love story. Just a nice story

The Demon in the Dunes by Chris Grabenstein

Home from America by Sharan Newman

Pirate Dave's Haunted Amusement Park by Toni L. P. Kelner
