I am sad. Sad that we may never know the future of Sadie’s life. Sad that this book is over. Sad that I maybe didn’t enjoy it as much as I thought I would.

I do appreciate the realism of this book. About half way into it I knew I wasn’t going to get the ending I wanted but just as life, you know?

I loved the podcast aspect of the book (I think I’ll get the audiobook later if only to physically hear The Girls) but I also would have loved to read more from Sadie’s perspective. I so dearly want the best for her and I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t a little disappointed with where her storyline ends.
