I enjoyed this series, including this third book, but the whole series did feel rushed overall and lacked some depth. It's not that the books are bad, they are fine and interesting, it's just that the relationships feel rushed, the characters underdeveloped, and the overall plot kind of fell flat.
I do like that this third book followed a character I wanted to learn more about while also revealing further social and cultural realities in addition to the inner turmoil felt by daunting decisions.
Overall, I recommend but not at the top of the list and I will read the next one because I want to know what happens! This one ended on quite the cliff hanger!
