Probably my least fav book from this author so far...but still an enjoyable read. Mostly it was a little weird to read the sex life of a character who was a literal child just a few books ago! Setting that aside, however, I also didn't necessarily love the idea of a throuple in this instance.
Tru being ace was wonderfully depicted. And I liked that Will was just already very accepting of him and made it clear from the beginning of both the book and their blossoming relationship that sex was not necessary for him or for them to have an intimate relationship.
LOVED THAT.
Which is why it felt a little cheap(?) introducing Cooper as their third. Like Cooper really only existed for this book to have sex scenes, which ok, this is a romance, but I think you can have a romance and not have sex -- which would have been amazing to see, considering one of the characters was asexual and sex-averse. I feel like it would have been equally hot to have shown a scene with Will and Tru engaging in mutual masturbation. Tru mentioned not being averse to that idea.
I guess I just didn't like that it felt that just because one of the main characters was asexual, we needed to have another allosexual character.
Still a lovely book, but over all, probably my least favorite for this reason.
