Too little thought is really put into the "crazies" and Kyle was just a disappointment as a threat. Honestly yeah the big attack on the group would be horrifying if we saw how it occurred, some POV scenes detailing what happened, and maybe I don't know some kinda reaction to what actually happened. Like I can't be the only person wondering why there were no scenes really showing people's reaction toward what just happened. Also, classic Laymon (aka Richard Kelly) but half of the book is trying to be bad titillating soft-core porn but everyone already knows that going in, but why is the supposed romance between Darcy and Greg progressing so fast? They are proclaiming their love and racing to start boning from pretty much the get-go and it's strange as hell.
