Bad Deal by Annabeth Albert

5.0

**I was given a free copy of this book by the author to read and review.**

BAD DEAL is the third book in the A-List Security series. It can be read as a stand alone without issue but reads so much better when you read in the order the author intended.

This series gets better and better with every book.

Harley is working security on the set for Ambrose's hit show, Traveling, that has an almost cult like following. Ambrose has always found Harley attractive and secretly crushes on him. He can't stop those feelings when Harley comes to his rescue to stop a mugging. Ambrose already suffers from an anxiety disorder and has been coping with his emotional support dog, Hercules. But having Harley around settles him in ways he didn't expect. When Harley agrees to be a "fake boyfriend" for his sisters wedding he could never expect how close he and Harley truly become but is it just the close proximity or is what between them "real" enough to last?

Harley loves his job and he notices his boss, Ambrose more than he probably should. He feels a protectiveness over him that has nothing to do with his job. Harley wants to see Ambrose safe and happy and would do anything to keep him that way. After a bit of a sexual awakening he can't keep Ambrose in the client column any longer. Volunteering to keep him safe at his niece's wedding isn't a hardship and when the line blurs between fake and real Harley can't imagine going back.

I loved Harley's big tough protective exterior and the way he was so sweet and understanding with Ambrose. The way Ambrose anxiety was written so well as was the way Harley took care of him.

I cannot wait for the next installment! He may be new to A-List Security but I can't wait to get Avery's story.
