4.5 stars. I enjoy the fake relationship trope in romance novels, so when I saw this listed in a post about tropes, I had to check it out. I thoroughly enjoyed Gwen and Brody together, even when they weren't communicating clearly with one another which 9 times out of 10 is what causes issues in fictional (and real-life) relationships. I thought Ted was a twit and I couldn't wait for Gwen to be rid of him. This works like a Hallmark movie where you get to a certain point in the book and you know things are going to fall apart. That moment was more sedate than I expected but it still jacked things up sufficiently so the wrap up of the book was satisfying. This is the first book in this series that I have read, but I will be checking out the previous titles. (sex, language)
